At NCCI, we’re looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Sr Compensation Analyst to join our Total Rewards team in administering NCCI’s compensation program, policies, and procedures. You’ll be responsible for conducting market research and analyzing compensation data to ensure our programs are competitive and aligned with industry standards. While our headquarters is located in sunny Boca Raton, FL, this position has the potential to work remotely within the United States.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As a Sr Compensation Analyst, you’ll work collaboratively with our HR team and business leaders to provide guidance on job designs and organizational structure by conducting job evaluations and researching market data and trends to ensure external competitiveness and internal calibration. In addition, you’ll:

  • Conduct job evaluations, assessing internal and external market competitiveness
  • Maintain job descriptions, salary structure, and pay ranges, and review proposed salary actions
  • Administer the base pay and incentive compensation programs and incentive award payouts
  • Assist with annual salary and merit budget projections and analysis
  • Participate in compensation surveys, develop databases to track market study results, analyze data, and present findings
  • Conduct external benchmarking market studies for our executive and non-executive pay programs
  • Administer and communicate salary structure updates and guidelines
  • Advise HR management on compensation-related issues, identifying solutions in compliance with applicable legislation that support business goals and internal calibration
  • Conduct compressional analysis and develop compensation models for Divisions
  • Prepare reporting, materials, and presentations for the Human Capital Committee (HCC) and Board of Directors (BOD), and work on special projects as assigned


WHAT IT TAKES:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3-5 years of Compensation experience, including:
    • Job evaluation processes, pay structures, job classification methodologies, compliance requirements, trends and developments in compensation, and benchmarking
    • Prior work experience with compensation software (WTW preferred)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (macros, pivot tables, vlookups)
  • Strong Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and some PowerBI knowledge and skills
  • Strong analytical, math, and critical thinking skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Solid project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a deadline-oriented environment
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a high-level of confidentiality

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:

  • WorldatWork Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation
  • Dayforce HCM experience
  • Data analytics expertise, mathematical, financial skills
