At NCCI, join our Customer Operations division in the role of an Analyst on our Assigned Risk team reviewing insurance applications and determining eligibility and proper classifications. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about the workers compensation industry and our role in it. You’ll go through a paid-training program that includes classroom and on-the-job experience that will support your success.

Please note: This position will be a part of a targeted late-April 2024 new hire class.

This will be a remote opportunity and the selected candidate must reside within Albuquerque, NM or the surrounding area.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Review workers compensation insurance applications for accuracy and gather additional information to analyze and determine eligibility, the proper classification, and appropriate pricing
  • Learn workers compensation industry terminology, rules, and how to explain these rules to our customers
  • Apply regulatory rules and regulations to issue binders
  • Utilize online tools, systems, and resources to assist in the review and processing of applications
  • Interact professionally with our customers, including agents, carriers, or employers
  • Meet and exceed the quality, timeliness, and compliance metrics that make you and your team successful

WHAT IT TAKES:

  • Bachelor's Degree
    • In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, you may qualify with an Associate's Degree and 3+ years of related experience
  • Experience in a customer service or analytical position; preferably in a similar industry
  • Ability to analyze and problem solve with a quality mind-set
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional, customer-focused, and friendly attitude

WHAT YOU’LL RECEIVE:

  • Starting base salary of$48,000 plus atargeted annual 7% performance bonus
  • Monday through Friday schedule
    • Must be willing and able to work a primary shift Monday through Friday of 9am-6pm, and an occasional shift from 11am-8pm on a rotational basis
