At NCCI, we’re looking for a Treasury Operations Analyst to join our Treasury team. This multi-disciplined role is responsible for financial analysis and operations amongst multiple areas of treasury. This position is part of a Treasury multi-functional group of analysts that adjust to daily or weekly operational needs directed by subject matter leaders in the areas of Electronic Payments, Receivables, Accounts Payable, Residual Market Plan Finance, and Annual Reports/Business Licensing.

IMPORTANT NOTE: An additional requirement for this role is the successful passing of a credit check.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Utilize secure banking portals to conduct proof of payment and data analysis to ensure payments are timely and accurate
  • Ensure compliance with key financial policies, procedures, controls, and standards
  • Leverage collection software to analyze customer collections history to assist in contacts and ensuring timely payments
  • Partner with internal teams and external customers to seek resolution and payment
  • Validate payments for accuracy and timeliness with proper supporting materials or receipts
  • Conduct data analysis on company credit cards and employee expenses
  • Provide operational and financial oversight on banking transactions for Residual Market Plan Finance together with key bank partners, carriers, agents, and applicants
  • Resolve issues related to financial application processing
  • Assist in the filing of annual report and business licensing to maintain compliance


WHAT IT TAKES:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Math, or related field
  • 3+ years experience in an analytical or customer service position in industries such as Finance, Treasury, Banking, Insurance, or similar
  • In lieu of a degree, additional years of relevant work experience or professional certifications may be accepted
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, macros, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of accounting and financial concepts, including payment mechanisms
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work as a team member supporting multiple subject matter leaders
  • Able to transition to multiple functions based on team needs
  • Self-starter with the ability to analyze complex information and make sound fact-based financial recommendations

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:

  • Demonstrated operational excellence and flexibility in daily or weekly operational needs
