We’re currently looking for a Total Rewards Assistant to join our Human Resources team. In this role, you’ll assist with a variety of tasks within our Total Rewards team, including the administration of NCCI’s benefit plans, leaves and programs, and additional administrative services. As a Total Rewards Assistant, you’ll assist in administering NCCI’s employee benefit programs, including our health and welfare benefits, leaves of absences, and workplace accommodations. In addition, you’ll:

  • Serve as the key contact for leaves of absences
  • Input and monitor employee transactions and new hires in our Human Capital Management (HCM) and benefits enrollment platforms; verify I9 forms
  • Maintain benefit plan eligibility records and review for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
  • Process benefits premium billings; report and research any discrepancies
  • Track QLE’s for ACA reporting and oversee the HR records retention schedule
  • Process benefits deduction file to ensure accuracy
  • Coordinate and participate in miscellaneous Total Rewards projects and activities, includingbenefits open enrollment, wellness activities, webinars and info sessions, and HR systems testing
  • Assist in the administration of the corporate Employee Wellness program, sports leagues, and gym incentives
  • Perform ad hoc assignments and administrative services, as directed


  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 1+ years of Human Resources or related experience; internship in HR is acceptable
  • Knowledge of general principles and regulations governing employee benefit plans, and basic Human Resource principles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Excellent interpersonal and teaming skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects and activities simultaneously
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Detail-oriented, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task in a deadline-oriented environment


  • Prior experience in benefits administration
  • Prior experience coordinating leaves of absence programs
