JOB OVERVIEW:
At NCCI, we’re looking for a Network Engineer to join our team supporting enterprise network and telecommunications infrastructure across a multi-location, hybrid cloud environment. You’ll design, implement, and test secure, scalable, and resilient network services, with a strong focus on project delivery, automation, and strategic planning. This role also offers opportunities for technical leadership and mentorship.
WORK LOCATION:
This position will work in a flexible-hybrid environment. The selected candidate must live locally within a commutable distance to our Boca Raton, FL headquarters.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Lead the design, deployment, and support of LAN/WAN, wireless, and cloud-integrated network, and telecommunications services
- Develop and maintain automation scripts (Python, Ansible) for configuration, monitoring, and reporting
- Collaborate with IT teams and architects to define and refine network and telecom solution architectures
- Participate in infrastructure strategy and planning initiatives
- Evaluate and implement vendor technologies to advance hybrid cloud infrastructure
- Establish and maintain architecture standards, policies, and documentation
- Ensure network security compliance and implement best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a 24x7 environment
- Proactively identify and address performance issues to meet SLAs
- Lead planning and execution of complex IT projects
WHAT IT TAKES:
- Education & Certification
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience
- Active Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification required
- Experience & Technical Skills
- 8+ years of Network and Telecommunications experience within hybrid cloud environments
- Proven experience in cloud infrastructure architecture, high-availability solutions, and cloud networking (OCI, Azure, or AWS)
- Deep expertise in enterprise network architectures, protocols, and network security best practices
- Proficient in automation and scripting using Ansible, PowerShell, or Python, including API integrations
- Solid understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems
- Knowledge of Software Defined Networking (SDN), DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Experience designing, implementing, and testing Disaster Recovery solutions
- Leadership & Communication
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage complex cross-functional projects
- Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts across all organizational levels
- Self-starter capable of working independently with minimal supervision
- Willingness to support a 24x7 IT environment as required
PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), or related field
- Certifications in the following:
- Cloud Architect (OCI, Azure, AWS)
- VMware VCP-DCV (Data Center), VCP-NV (Network Virtualization)
- PMP (Project Management Professional)
