At NCCI, we’re looking for a Manager – Network & Telecommunications to lead our team in overseeing the design and implementation of a resilient, scalable, reliable, and secure network architecture. This role involves strategic and tactical planning, budgeting, operations, governance, and architectural design of NCCI’s network and telecommunications platforms. You’ll manage software and hardware evaluations and procurement, while recommending and implementing technology tools to ensure the reliability, stability, and performance of our infrastructure.
This position will work in a flexible-hybrid environment. The selected candidate must be within a local commutable distance to our Boca Raton, FL headquarters.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Strategic Planning and Design
- Develop and implement NCCI’s strategic vision for network infrastructure, aligning with IT and business initiatives
- Create and oversee strategic and tactical plans for all network and telecommunications infrastructure
- Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies
- Implement zero trust network model and robust security measures
- Ensure compliance with CIS benchmarks and industry best practices
Network Management and Operations
- Manage network performance, capacity, and utilization metrics to ensure 99% availability
- Establish and enforce guidelines, procedures, and standards for network operations
- Coordinate, plan, and thoroughly test all changes before production implementation
- Provide 24x7 support for the network and telecommunications infrastructure
- Monitor and report network availability, performance, and security within established SLAs
- Participate in Disaster Recovery planning and exercises
Team Leadership
- Oversee and manage assigned staff, including hiring, performance evaluation, coaching, and development
- Lead team members to achieve the organization’s standards for productivity, quality, and goals
- Provide hands-on technical leadership to the team
- Foster a culture of team member engagement and empowerment
Budget and Vendor Management
- Manage the telecommunications budget and contribute to the IT hardware and software budget
- Negotiate contracts and service agreements with vendors
- Evaluate, recommend, and approve vendors and solutions
- Manage relationships with vendors, service providers, and technology partners
WHAT IT TAKES:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
- 8+ years of Network and Telecommunications experience
- 5+ years of IT leadership experience
- Experience in architecting and managing public cloud network infrastructure, high availability solutions, and hybrid cloud environments
- Active Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA) certification
- Ability to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of large-scale LAN, WAN, and wireless networks
- Strong understanding of software defined networking concepts, DevOps, and delivering infrastructure as code
- Strong understanding of network security best practices and compliance requirements
- Advanced knowledge and experience in designing and implementing high availability network and telecommunication solutions
- Extensive expertise in enterprise network architectures, technologies and protocols, including wireless technologies
- Understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems, DNS, DHCP, Disaster Recovery
- Strong skills to manage a diverse set of technical team members
- Strong project management and conflict/problem resolution skills
- Excellent customer service, presentation, facilitation, and communication skills
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:
- Management experience in an IT Infrastructure area
- Microsoft Certified: Azure network Engineer Associate or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Certified Cloud Ops Professional PMP (Project Management Professional)
