ABOUT THE JOB:

In this role you will help design, develop, and implement the content models, architecture, maps, taxonomies, and metadata manage and maintain the largest suite of workers compensation manual content in the country. This role is responsible for collaborating with our various business units to develop the best content strategy, to turn our manuals into flexible and easy to access content, which meets our customers’ needs.

WHAT WILL YOU DO IN THIS ROLE?

  • Implement information maps and models that integrate content into the overall structure to improve its semantic value.
  • Organize and create efficient metadata models, taxonomy namespaces, and search schemas
  • Define and implement faceted search requirements
  • Designing ongoing DTD and stylesheet development, automation and scripting, new media consulting and publishing
  • Working with teams to build and architect new CCMS and CMS based solutions
  • Ensure that all content structure, architecture, and workflows are designed, developed, tested, and implemented in alignment with our content strategies.
  • Develop & manage content authoring processes, procedures, and standards for creating and maintaining common reusable content by creating authoring templates and tools

WHAT IS REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE?

  • A bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five (5) years of experience with content management and/or information architecture.
  • Vision to implement the “Big Picture” for content usage for enterprise content creation and usage.
  • Knowledge of common component content management systems (CCMS), Content Management Systems, and XML editors preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of structured XML authoring and editing tools including Document Information Typing Architecture (DITA), XMetal, and oXygen; and Experience with SQL Server
  • Comprehension of business drivers and their impact on content creation, reuse, and delivery.
  • Analysis of content structure for its semantic value.
  • Strong communication skills to gain support for team initiatives from stakeholders.
  • Collaboration with other roles to create, manage, reuse, customize, and deliver content.
