Manager of Agile Transformation, Change Management & Continuous Improvement

Job Purpose:
To lead and develop project managers as broadly skilled facilitators incorporating Quality & Excellence, Agile, and Lean principles to achieve project and company results.

Major Duties:

Responsible for leading and managing projects and departmental business objectives while maintaining a high and consistent level of quality service and customer support and satisfaction.

Ensure projects are managed in alignment with company goals, Quality & Excellence, Agile, and Lean principles.Identifies interdependencies facilitates cross project synergies and communicates effectively to achieve results.

In partnership with the Director-PMO and other Manager-PMO manages the health and wellness of the PMO process and department (best practices, improving PMO process).Identifies continuous improvement of processes, based on metric and feedback, assists in the establishment of communication plans and roll out strategies for implementation.

Manages and directs assigned staff. Duties include, but are not limited to, decisions about: hiring and staffing; position design, organization structure; performance assessment; coaching; pay; and corrective action and separations.Develops, reviews, and/or approves: work schedules, work assignments, work processes, PTO and other time-off requests, and development through relevant training programs for staff.

Required Education, Experience and Skills:

Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of project management experience including at least 3 years management experience.


In lieu of management experience, incumbent must have a proven ability to develop and lead project managers to manage project timelines, resources, and budgetary requirements for high level complex projects.

  • Advanced project management skills (proficient with Project Management Institute’s Project Management Body of Knowledge)

  • Ability to express complex technical concepts effectively both written and verbally, to diverse groups of people

  • Strong leadership, facilitation, negotiation, and time management skills

  • Demonstrated ability in conflict resolution, issues and change management

  • Demonstrated success in management of large, complex, programs/projects

  • Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills

  • Budgeting/financial analysis skills (estimating, tracking, forecasting, issue identification)

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Successful experience working with mid-and senior level executives.

  • Strong MS Project and Office Suite skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

  • Skilled in the practice of being able to influence proactively and build consensus

  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and coach others

  • Excellent presentation skills

Preferred Education, Experience and Skills:

Experience leading Agile Projects, Quality and/or Agile Certificate
